And here's the exciting part: our team is growing! We are currently looking for a Shopify Developer with deep experience in custom Shopify development to join our IT team.

This role is essential to support the strategic growth initiatives, including a conversion rate optimisation (CRO), innovations for subscription product and site performance improvements. The successful candidate will lead the development of alternative product templates, customised landing pages, and dynamic user flows tailored to traffic sources and referral campaigns. These templates often involve custom logic for free gifts, upsells, and personalised experiences.
The role requires a close collaboration with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure seamless alignment with business objectives. A strong focus is put on the mobile-first development and clean code practices. Our infrastructure includes a hybrid setup that leverages both Shopify native subscriptions and Recharge-based subscriptions, often within the same purchasing flows. 

In this role, your responsibilities will include: 

• Create new themes, sections, and templates.

• Develop, customise, and maintain our online shop and landing pages to drive conversion and revenue.

• Integrate 3rd party applications, handle chosen CRO tasks.

• Collaborate closely with other developers and designers to deliver projects on time.

• Test and debug websites regularly to improve site performance.

• Brainstorm and experiment with new methods to improve efficiency in a fast-growing team aiming to go miles in e-commerce.

Must-haves:

• Recognized Shopify expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Shopify theme and app development.

• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid and building custom, dynamic templates, including alternative product templates based on user source, intent, or campaign logic.

• Proficient in Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API), GraphQL, and custom app development.

• Experience developing both Shopify native and Recharge-based subscriptions, including hybrid flows and gift logic.

• Deep understanding of Shopify Metafields for flexible and scalable content structures.

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a mobile-first approach and a focus on responsive, high-performance interfaces.

• Hands-on experience using Git and working within version-controlled environments.

• Proven debugging, QA, and performance optimisation skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience working in cross-functional teams.

What we will appreciate:

• Knowledge A/B testing frameworks and CRO best practices.

• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Hotjar, or similar.

• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and implementation.

• Experience with headless Shopify or JAMstack-style architectures.
